🐧 Instructions for Linux
As of December 2, 2024. The latest supported NetWorker Client version is 19.10.0.5
Login to the client you are planning to upgrade.
Uninstall (as admin) any previous version of the NetWorker software prior to installing the new version.
Ubuntu/Debian:
Search for the installed package:

Verify the version is 19.10.0.5 or later

Remove the old version client package:

Fetch the installer from the VSS Users Storage. Replace
$USER
with your VSS Username.Ubuntu:

Alternatively, fetch the installer from the UTORrecover SharePoint site: https://utoronto.sharepoint.com/sites/its-eis-UTORrecover
Proceed to install the package:

After the install, make sure the NetWorker client is running:

Submit an echo request by following this link How-to check NetWorker client connectivity for UTORrecover.
The echo request result should be marked as Processed to be successful.
