Ubuntu Pro Support Now Available Across All Domains at ITS Private Cloud

We’re pleased to announce that Ubuntu Pro has been successfully renewed and is now fully supported across all four ITS Private Cloud domains (FD1, FD2, FD3, FD4).

This initiative reflects a collaborative effort between Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions (EIS), Enterprise Applications and Solutions Integration (EASI), and Information Security, aimed at delivering a more secure, resilient, and enterprise-ready Linux experience to our Private Cloud users.

Ubuntu Pro brings extended security maintenance and compliance features to Ubuntu systems, including:

• 10-year security coverage for Ubuntu packages

• Kernel live patching

• FIPS, CIS, and Common Criteria EAL2-certified components

• Advanced hardening tools and compliance reporting

These enhancements align with our goal to provide a highly secure and reliable operating environment for mission-critical services hosted on the ITS Private Cloud.
