How-to interact with the ITS Private Cloud Assistant through the Portal
Th ITS Private Cloud Portal allows you to efficiently manage your virtual machines hosted at the ITS Private Cloud. And now with the AI powered Virtual Assistant, you've got access to vast knowledge at your finger tips without leaving the Portal.
1. Introduction
Learn how to effectively engage with the I.T.S. Private Cloud Assistant through the Portal. First, open a web browser and type: https://cloud-portal.eis.utoronto.ca . Remember to enable the VSS VPN before logging in.
2. Click "Username"
Enter your "VSS username" to proceed.
3. Fill "VSS username password"
Enter your "VSS username password" to proceed.
4. Click "LOG IN"
Log in to the Cloud Portal
5. Click "VSS TOTP Code"
Provide the VSS TOTP code for verification
6. Click "VERIFY"
Verify the TOTP code
7. Click here
Look for the I.T.S. Private Cloud Assistant avatar at the bottom-right of the Portal.
8. Click "Type a question" and fill your question
Enter your query. Remember to include in your query "via the portal" to get specific processes aligned to the I.T.S. Private Cloud Portal.
9. Fill "how to create a virtual machine snapshot in the portal?"
For instance, type "how to create a virtual machine snapshot in the portal?" in the query field.
10. Click "Send"
Click "Send" to ask away!
11. Click "Cancel"
Once you've got the steps to follow, click "cancel" to go back to the Portal.
