UTORrecover NetWorker: savefs: nothing to save savefs hostname: failed.

 Problem

UTORrecover backup fails with error:

7184:savefs: nothing to save savefs ClientName: failed.

 Solution

  1. Login to https://backups.eis.utoronto.ca

  2. Go to the “Protected Clients” section and search for the client having issues.

  3. Verify the Column “Aliases” contains all host aliases.

  4. If any of the host aliases is missing, create a ticket via ESC https://utor.cloud/utorrecover/help and provide the aliases missing.
