Network Interfaces cannot be detected on Windows Guests
Problem
Network Interfaces cannot be detected by Windows Guests since VMware VMXNET3 drivers are not included by default in certain versions.
Solution
Install VMware Tools
vSphere Client
Login to either the VMware vSphere Client or the Web Client
Right click on the Virtual Machine
Select Guest > Install/Upgrade VMware Tools
Proceed on the Windows guest through the wizard to install VMware Tools
VSS CLI
Using https://vss-cli.eis.utoronto.ca or a local Cloud CLI install
Mount VMware Tools:
vss-cli compute vm set <VmnName-or-id> tools mount
Proceed on the Windows guest through the wizard to install VMware Tools
