On Windows clients, messages like "Unable to connect to the remote server" or "Could not connect to vctr5-1.dcb.eis.utoronto.ca" from the vSphere client and "This page can't be displayed" from the vSphere web client.
Solution
Run OpenVPN as Administrator: Administrator privileges is a requirement in order for OpenVPN to workare necessary to set the routes that send VM-related traffic through the VSS-VPN tunnel.

Executing To run OpenVPN as administrator will fix the issueAdministrator:
- Right click on the OpenVPN icon and click on select "Run as Administratoradministrator".
- Right Click click on the OpenVPN icon located in the task bar and click Connect.
- Type your VSS CredentialsAuthenticate using your VSKEY username and password.
