Windows
Alternatively, consult the UTORvpn Windows install instructions, substituting "vskey-gw.ovpn" and "vskey-gw.crt" for each mention of "utorvpn.ovpn"
Download and install the OpenVPN client.
Fetch the configuration files from the VSS-VPN gateway via either of the following methods:
Unified configuration file via email (recommended).
OpenVPN profile and cert: vskey-gw.ovpn and vskey-gw.crt.
Please note: if you're using Internet Explorer to fetch the files, vskey-gw.crt might be saved as vskey-gw.cer. If this happens, please rename vskey-gw.cer back to vskey-gw.crt.
Copy both configuration files to OpenVPN configuration directory:
"C:\Program Files\OpenVPN\config\"
or with Windows 7 ...
"C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\OpenVPN\Config\".
or
C:\Users\<username>\OpenVPN\Config\
Run OpenVPN as Administrator (Right Click on OpenVPN Icon and click "Run as Administrator").
Search for the icon in the taskbar and click connect.
Type your VSKEY credentials.
Don't forget to run OpenVPN as Administrator otherwise the necessary network routes will not be installed and VSS-specific traffic will not be forwarded through the VPN.
