Once the account has been created in the VSKEY directory, the user must then set a password in order to access vSphere environment and VSS-VPN. A password can be set with the following steps:

Step-by-step guide

  1. Visit the VSKEY password VSKEY self-serve and fill in the requested information: username and email (already provided by the VSS team).
  2. Click Send to submit the request.

After entering your username and your email address you should receive an email message (from "vss-webadmin@void.utoronto.ca")  with the instructions for resetting your password.  The "reset VSKEY password" email should arrive promptly so if you have been waiting for a while, please check the place where your email reader puts "Junk" or "Spam" messages.

  3. Click on the URL in the message. A form will come up in your browser and you will be able to set your new password.

  4. Click Send to submit the changes.

  5. You should now be able to use your new VSKEY username and password to access the Virtualization environment with the vSphere client.

If you have any questions, please send email to vss@eis.utoronto.ca.
