UTORrecover NetWorker: Fixing inconsistent NSR peer information

UTORrecover NetWorker: Fixing inconsistent NSR peer information

 Problem

Errors in the nsrexecd log show as follows:

  • Connection reset by peer

  • There is already a machine using the name (client_name). Either choose a different name for your machine, or delete the "NSR peer information" entry for (client_name) on host: (host_name)

 Solution

Remove nsrladb and restart nsrexecd

Windows Path:

  1. Remove C:\Program Files\NetWorker\res\nsrladb

  2. Restart nsrexecd service

Linux

  1. Remove /nsr/res/nsrladb

  2. Restart nsrexecd service.
