How-to add virtual or physical hosts to UTORrecover

Pre-requirements

Instructions

  1. Send an email to backups@eis.utoronto.ca and provide the following:

    1. IP address. Must be reachable by

    2. Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN).

    3. Hostname and Aliases.

    4. Operating System: Windows or Linux.

    5. Paths to backup: Specific like C:\ or /var/lib, /data or all.

    6. (Optional) Protection Group. If you are already using any.

  2. Once you hear back from the UTORrecover Team, perform an Echo Request How-to check NetWorker client connectivity for UTORrecover
