How-to add virtual or physical hosts to UTORrecover

Pre-requirements

Instructions

  1. Perform an Echo Request How-to check NetWorker client connectivity for UTORrecover

  2. Existing Customers:

    1. Login to the UTORrecover Portal and Submit a Commission Request.

      1. Review How-to commission physical or virtual clients to UTORrecover for details.

  3. New Customers:

    1. Send an email to backups@eis.utoronto.ca and provide the following:

      1. Backup Start Time: i.e. 02:00 AM or 11:30 PM.

      2. Retention Policy: i.e. 1 Month or 2 Months or 3 Months.

    2. The UTORrecover team will reach out to you once the Protection Group and Workflow are fully configured.

    3. Login to the UTORrecover Portal and Submit a Commission Request

If the client has multiple IP addresses, configure a static route on the registered IP address to ensure connectivity with the UTORrecover NetWorker Backup Server IPs.
